The First test of the year... and of college life.

Well today was a busy day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the busy days. I have music and then spanish and then math and then pool. It is rather stressful lol. I was really tired by then end of the day. I was nice to swim my stress away though. I had my first test in my math class today. I got a 100% on it wahoo! i was one of 2 people in the class to do that! it made me very happy! The homework on the other had is starting to frustrate me. I will have to really pay attention to this part of the class (not like i dont already). After all of my classes were done i went and ate dinner. There is this little sushi bar here in Monterey and it is great! i love it. Actually i think that it is my favorite as of now. Not only do they serve sushi but all sorts of authentic Japanese food. Tonight i had the tempura udon and a spicy tuna roll and a large sake. It was very nice, and the people there are very nice as well. Thank God i only have one class tomorrow it is my English class from 8am until 9am. Well i am going to go for now. I hope all is well with everyone... (if anyone is even reading this blog lol i know that Jenna is, and Nancy)

Third days a charm?? Oh no that's third time...lol

Well it seems like things are finally starting to fall into place. I finally got some money in from the navy (it wasnt the actual book money but that is what it bought.) So i finally have the required books for all of my classes, Thank GOD!!! I am beat today, i studied my butt off in spanish and music and i have my first test tomorrow (math) already a test... It should be a great one. I am already doing great in swimming (at least i like to think so...) everything is finally falling into place. I need to get some rest i have to be up again in the am... Good night

Day two the school saga continues...

Well i had music 1A today and spanish 1A math and pool today and i am beat! the Music class i think that is going to be my hardest class. I mean i know music but it is going to be my hardest. The navy has yet to send my money (excuse me they sent it and it still hasnt made it to me), so i am going to start falling behind in my classes real soon if they dont get in to gear faster. I am really tired today the pool was a real workout today. She had me swim a total of 1450meters and that is A LOT or me. Well that is my day in a really short nutshell... Oh yeah there was this really creepy kid that came and sat down next to my while i was waiting for my spanish class to start he was staring at me. When i turned to look at him he looked away, so i did and when i did he totally started looking at me again. talk about freaky!!! anyway, good night!

It's a new dawn, a new day, a new life for me... and I'm feelin good!

Wow what a day!

So i am walking to school this morning at 7:15ish and there was this older lady. She was walking in front of me. She turned off on a different street and met me at a different street. I think she thought that i was some kind of hoodlum. LOL funny.

I get a little further down that same street and there is this black cat ( like a real full black cat, I may not be that superstitious but i sure as hell was not going to be crossing any black cat paths on the way to my first day of school! No way Jose!

English 1A 8 am-9am: Cool Teacher, he seems as though he will be a difficult teacher but, a good one. There were so many people in the class that a lot of them had to stand. The people didnt think that i was 26 lol. Funny kids! (and when i say kids 18, 19, 20 years old, i think i was the oldest in the class.lol)

Then i had a break and when i say a break i mean a 5 hour break to get things done. I did a little homework for english. Then i walked home and ate lunch. it was nice.

Pre-algebra (if i dont ace this class i will kick my own butt!) The teacher strolls in with his bike, and a fanny pack. I thought that there were stickers circulating that said "where have the fanny packs gone?" it was funny. It was a good class and i feel that i will ace it, i have to pay attention to it though.

During this break of me walking around and just chilling for 2.5 hours i was walking by the music area and heard someone playing the piano so i had to sit on the bench and listen, he came out and i felt strange so i stood right up and walked away. I bet he noticed lol... But it sounded so amazing, this kid really knew how to play! one of the best that i have heard...

The pool...This is going to be my favorite class. It makes me feel good and the instructor said that she will make workouts for us if we want them. So i am going to hit her up for a good work out for the rest of the semester.

Well it is now 9:14 and i am really tired i didn't sleep well last night. To much thinking about school lol. good night

The day before school... DUN dun dunnnnnnnn

Well today was pretty uneventful. I ended up playing some video game and watching the last unicorn (for those of you that have never watched it before it is great! i love it! i picked up my room as to have it a lil clean before my first day... Start it off right (Right?) I went in search of friends again and i ended up meeting Ben... Ben and i are not friend material. There are just some people that do not mesh well with others and he is one of them. But I tried right... As i was sitting at my desk in my room i looked to my right at my mirror and saw this beautiful woodpecker (aka Howie woodsuckers to some... You like that Nancy??) that was pretty much my day... I found out that Martin My landlord (and that is really all that we are... He is one of those people that i really dont click well with either... something is just missing... Which is fine with me. Nice guy... Kind of strange though.) can play a mean piano. He sat at it for about 20 minutes and just played (I guess if i had a piano at my fingertips i would be able to play as well). I am making that one of my goals in school. **learn to play the piano** anyway...

A quest for friendship?

So I did a whole lot of nothing today. I watched Twilight again and breakfast at Tiffany's (i love that show). Then I decided that i would go in search of friends. (i see it like this, i really need some friends that i can hang out with again) So i did just that. I went and had a chai latte at East Village (For those of you in Ventura it is like Palermos but WAYYYYYYYY better!) with a potential friend. His name is Kimber. We had long talks and it seems like it will be fun to hang out with him. We sat there for 2 hours and chated and he had to go. So i was alone once again. I went in search for food. Stomach growling and ready to chow i headed into town. There were a few spots that i thought i might go to then i went and read the menu and they just didn't catch my eye. So i finally found one that caught my eye. Kruna Thai. There pineapple Curry is to die for!!! I brought that home as well. I was sitting at the table and i looked to the right and there was a candy dispenser. I looked close and noticed that there were gumballs in it that had little eyes painted on it with melt-in-your-mouth dye on them. i thought that i was funny. Sorry that there are still no pictures i will get some promise :)
School starts on Monday for me and i still don't have my books and i am still waiting for the VA to give me my GI money. They said that they sent it a month ago. It will get to me... I hope... Well there are the adventures for the day in a nut shell. Love you all

Day one of this whole blogging thing...lol

Well i am hoping that I did this the right way. If not please forgive me, I am new to this. Today was so cool and now that I know that I can have pictures on my blog it is on! I started my day off at about 10am and found that I really needed to t out of the house (I did nothing but play a video game and work on my iTunes all morning) at about 3Pm, so that is what I did. I have decided that I am going to be walking everywhere I go here in Monterey.

I see it like this.

1. The fat that is slowly working its way into my stomach region really needs to be worked of
2. The environment needs a little help and i figure i can do it on step at a time (get it lol)
3. The price of gas is steep so I am doing my own protest to it that way.

I walked from my new house into down town Monterey. It is a nice place! As was walking i noticed that there is a public library only about a mile from the house and I had to become a member. So this is what i did! I am a new proud "club" member at the monterey public library!

The town is great. I walked through the portola plaza area and then took a little stroll through the fisherman's wharf area. It is awesome, they even have a little theater. i decided that i needed to walk more (my feet weren't tired yet) so I got my lil butt amovin and walked all the way down to cannery row. What a neat place. The aquarium is there and the buildings are great!

As I was walking down cannery row i noticed a rocky mountain chocolate factory and i told myself right then and there. "on the way back you are so going in there" and that is what i did. I love the fact that the main store is in Durango and that i see all of these off branches of it. Anyway i walked around for a while and decided that i needed to get back to monterey and i hoped on the trolley and rode right back into town. I went to the fitness center and got some information on it and then i went to this cute little Korean restaurant. it was good, so good in fact that i had to take home the leftovers! then i walked back up the hill to my new casa (and by casa i mean room lol) now here i am with one great day of adventuring behind me (and by on great day i mean a few hours...)

I hope you all like this blog thing, i am going to try to write in it everyday to keep the world up on me and my life (and by world i mean my friends and family)
